There are moments of being a mother which shine out above all others because of the awe and wonder in an adoring child's heart as they consider their mother. I believe I had one of these this evening:
Lily: "Mom, how does ice cream help you?"
Mom: "It helps you to get bigger buns."
Lily: (after thinking and checking) "I don't think it's working on me!"
Ella: "But it's working on Mom!"
I know, I set myself up for these moments of glory.
There was actually a lengthy conversation afterward because, of course, the kids took me a little too seriously. The cost of a joke.

Ella's Leg

So, I took Ella in yesterday and got her splint taken off and replaced with a pretty pink cast. Thought you'd like to see some pictures of that and other things.
I want to stick a picture of Dessa in Ella's bed. She likes to climb up in it and pretend

Also, here is a picture of the dress Grandma Bunky got Dessa for Christmas. Red hair always goes pretty with emerald green, though you can't really see Dessa's hair in this picture. I downsized all these pictures, so clicking on them will give you a better view.
I put in here a picture of a card I made
