I can't believe we're only one month away from Odessa's first birthday! This year has flown by. Here are some links to a recent photo shoot:
Summer dress

Cherries
Snuggle coat
I suppose that will do.
We had a lovely visit with the Grandma Squad early this week, though we were sorry to see them go today. Ella figured that whenever they go we must go with them. It's good that Daddy came home from training today:)
We have an open house to prepare for this weekend, so that should keep us busy.
Hello to Lori and her friends at the bank! Bunky told me you get a kick out of Odessa's pictures (does a mother's heart good:)
Have a great week!

House listing
Hello!
We have finally gotten our house on the market. It's been on the market for a week now, and after the flurry of the past two weeks of preparations and showings, we're in a bit of a slow-down. Which is good because Bob and I are sick and Odessa has a mysterious rash (probably an allergy) we're trying to figure out. And our bed broke the other day. Bob did get that fixed, and as soon as Dessa's cleared up and we're all well, I hope we pick up a bit more activity on the house. It's a bit depressing how empty it feels to us, which is "spacious" when showing a house. It was nice to get a bunch of projects we had started finished.
If you'd like to see some pictures of our clean house click here for our listing.
If you'd like to see the house we are interested in, click here.
I did find my camera, but I'm out of the habit of taking pictures and still without hope of getting them to the computer. Someday I'll be back on track.
Lily had achieved a great accomplishment; she has climbed the tree in our back yard. Ella tries, but she doesn't have the determination to get up it yet (or maybe the leg length). I'm kind of glad, though, because I'm not sure she'd remember to be careful enough to stay in the tree once up it.

House
I don't have any new pictures today and I can't find my camera, so who knows when there will be any pictures. But, I do have news. We are scheduled to put our house on the market tomorrow, with showings starting on Monday. Please pray that we will sell quick! And that Lily will handle it well when we move. I worry about her having a hard time with it.

More of Ella
We have had other things going on besides modeling, but we haven't been taking pictures of the other thing. Maybe when we get them done. We've been doing a lot of painting. We are finishing up the trim and we've also almost got the bottom half of the kitchen done to match the top. Next, we will be redoing our kitchen island and creating a thingy for the dishwasher to set in. Then it's on to the bathroom! THe house we like best on the market just dropped $15,000, so we're really motivated to get our projects done.

Ella's 15

I found one of Ella's pictures up, but she modeled two other things, so I will post them when they are up.

Lily's 15 minutes of fame

Lily and Ella got to model a few things. It went OK, but they are at a stage where natural smiles don't come on demand so easily. So a few cute pictures happened anyhow, but we know that the pictures don't quite do their characters justice.

Ella and Odessa have some pictures on the way as well
PS: these pictures belong to Jackie, but she said it is OK for me to use them (just not use them to sell the clothes)

More pictures of Odessa

We had a great weekend as my parents came to stay with us. as Lily said, they "drove and drove and drove and turned and parked behind Rocket."
Odessa is really crawling now. Forward and everything. With this new freedom, she is also deciding that she should have a say in things concerning herself. We knew it would come some day.
Tomorrow Lily and Ella get a chance to model. I hope they enjoy it!
Here are some of Odessa's latest:
Blue dress
Flowered dress
Flower suit
Green suit
