Back from Montana

Mike is back from Marine boot camp. For some reason, the only picture I got of him is when he was eating something.

The first thing we did when we got home from Montana was turn the heaters up and Bob bundled the girls up on the couch. Ella said, "I'm all bumbled up!" It was snowing and cold!
We got our Christmas tree up. I will post pictures as soon as the rest of the house is clean enough to take a picture.

Thanksgiving

We are headed to Montana tomorrow for Thanksgiving. The girls are so excited! We get to see my brother, Mike, who is just finished with Marine boot camp. Also, I get to do Christmasy things with my mom right after Thanksgiving, which I haven't gotten to do for some years.
Here is a picture of Odessa with her toy we call her "snuggle bear." She likes to hug my hand when I give her pacifier to her at bed time, so I have to replace my hand with something when I want to let her go to sleep. Thanks for her snuggle bear, Wade!
She rubs the bear across her face and closes her eyes. At some point the bear and the plug get tossed aside, but still, it's cute while it lasts!

Just a few halloween pictures. Odessa was NOT amused by this whole costume concept. I had to bribe Lily and Ella to wear their costumes. I told them they could go get candy if they wore costumes and smiled for a picture. Ella really was happy, but she wanted to skip the pictures and get right to the candy.

Lily built this all by herself. We left it up for almost a week it was so beautiful. Maybe she'll be an architect.

Grandma Bunky went with us to pick our pumpkins at a patch outside of town. What fun!

Office visits

I forget that I can just type in here without putting up pictures. Lily and Ella had a checkup on Monday, which went well for almost the whole visit. The DR. said that Lily would probably grow to be about 5'1" when she's an adult. Bob says she'll be a little hottie. They had their first eye tests, which they were eager to help each other on.
So the girls were happy and brave about the checkup and were even convinced they would get their shots without crying right until the needles came out. Ella went first and was very still, but cried a loudly. I gave her the gourmet lollipop I brought for her and she was fine. Lily, unfortunately, saw it happen and came unglued. I had to pry the poor girl off my body and pin her down. She had that look like, "I trusted you and now you're torturing me." The lollipop helped a bit, but it took her a long time to calm down. I think she still loves me anyway. I told Bob next time it's his turn.

My favorite new Ella-ism, which many of you have already heard: I was whispering something in Ella's ear and she said to me, "I don't want you to thneak (sneak) up on my ear!"

Well that first video clip was a test. I didn't even know which video I was posting and it took a while so videos may be sparce for a while. Here's another picture instead.
